Professor Fatih Sendag who is Director of Gynecological Endoscopic and Robotic Training Programs in Ege University, Izmir; has been invited to numerous scientific meetings and conferences of gynecological endoscopy associations as speaker in Europe, Middle East, Far East and USA.
He started “Training of Virtual Reality in Gynecologic Laparoscopy” in Turkey for the first time.
He has been implementing Gynecological Endoscopy Training Programs since 2008, 3 times a year for a whole month. This program is the first and currently the only Training program in Turkey.
He performed Single Incision Laparoscopic Hysterectomy in Turkey for the first time. He also performed Robotic Single Site Hysterectomy in Turkey and in the world for the first time.
He performed several live surgeries on Training programs, congresses, symposiums, international platforms and through web as well. He also performed first live transmission of Robotic Single Site Hysterectomy in AAGL 2013 from Izmir Turkey to Washington D.C., U.S.A.
Established the Robotic Surgery Unit in Ege University in 2012 and organized the first Gynecologic Robotic surgery Training Program in Turkey in May 2012.
He was the President of Congress of Society of European Robotic Gynecological Surgery (SERGS), Istanbul, Turkey in June 2015, President of ESGE 26th Annual Congress, Antalya, Turkey in October 2017 and President of 5th Annual Meeting of Middle East Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (MESGE) in March 2019.
In 2022, he founded Endo Academy, a special gynecological endoscopy training program, in Izmir, Turkey. Endo Academy carries out its training programs in a farm environment in nature. This unique training program includes fellowship programs, two-day master class programs (hysterectomy, hysteroscopy, urogynecology, endometriosis, myomectomy), hands-on programs, robotic surgery training programs, animal lab programs, anatomical dissection programs in cadavers, tele-mentoring programs, live surgery broadcasts and programs that include firsts in the unique training called Endo Camp (www.endo-academy.com).
Professor Fatih Sendag has more than 100 articles which have been published in national and international journals, numerous posters or oral presentations which have been presented nationally and internationally and authorships of chapters in some books.
