Who This Activity Is For
This activity is intended for physicians, researchers, and allied health professionals — including those in gynecologic surgery, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and pediatrics — as well as patients and patient advocates.
After Completing This Activity
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
- Select and apply at least two non-invasive diagnostic strategies appropriate to patient presentation to shorten time to diagnosis.
- Describe surgical approaches for GI/GU/thoracic disease and identify strategies to prevent and manage hemorrhagic and entry-related complications.
- Design a multidisciplinary care plan incorporating opioid-sparing pain management and fertility optimization/preservation.
- Identify precision-medicine and genomic markers relevant to individualized treatment and recognize features warranting malignancy risk evaluation.
